Privacy statement
Last updated: 8 October 2026
We handle your data with care and never collect more than we need. Our website does not use cookies for visitors, does not load any third-party services and never sells data. Below you can read exactly what we process, why, and for how long.
1. Who we are
This website belongs to PVG Technologies B.V., established in the Netherlands and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 99645939. We are the controller for the processing of the personal data described in this statement.
Do you have a question about privacy, or would you like to exercise one of your rights? Send us a message through the contact form and choose "Privacy request" as the topic.
2. The contact form
When you fill in the contact form, we process your name, your email address, the topic you choose and your message. We only use this data to answer your question and, if you wish, to schedule an introduction or growth scan with you.
- Legal basis: your request for contact, so that we can respond to your question before any agreement is made (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in answering messages from visitors (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- How it reaches us: your message is delivered by email to our mailbox at Google (Gmail). Google may also process data outside the European Economic Area. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has confirmed an adequate level of protection.
- Retention: we keep your message for as long as we need to handle your question, and for no more than 2 years after that. If the contact leads to an assignment, we keep the correspondence for as long as the law requires, usually 7 years for our accounts.
To prevent abuse and spam, our server holds your IP address in its working memory for no more than 10 minutes, so that it can count how many messages come from one address. That IP address is not stored and is not sent along with your message.
3. Statistics about how the website is used
We want to know which pages and buttons help our visitors, so that we can improve the website. For this we use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics program that runs on our own server in the EU (see section 4). The statistics therefore do not go to a company that uses them for its own purposes.
- No cookies: Umami does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser.
- No IP address in storage: your IP address is only used to determine your country or region and to count visits, using a key that changes every month. The address itself is not stored, and we cannot use it to recognise you or follow you across other websites.
- What we see: which page you visit, which website you came from, your type of browser, operating system and device, screen size, language and country or region. We also count clicks on a few buttons (such as "Book a free growth scan") and whether the contact form was sent, with only the chosen topic. Your name, email address and message never end up in the statistics.
- Do Not Track: if you have turned on "Do Not Track" in your browser, we do not measure your visit.
- Legal basis and retention: our legitimate interest in improving the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The statistics are deleted automatically after 25 months.
4. Visiting the website
Our website runs on our own server, which we rent from Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany), in a data centre near Helsinki in Finland. Your data therefore stays within the EU. To show you the pages, the server processes technically necessary data, such as your IP address. We do not keep a log of which visitor requests which page. Server error messages are kept for 30 days and contain no visitor data.
The fonts, images and scripts on this website are all served from our own server. Your browser therefore does not connect to third-party services such as Google Fonts.
5. Cookies
We do not set any cookies for visitors to this website. Only the admin area, which is used exclusively by our own staff, uses a necessary cookie to stay logged in.
6. Links to other websites
Our website contains links to other websites, such as those of our clients, TransferGuard, Xclusive VR and LinkedIn. If you click on such a link, the privacy statement of that website applies. We are not responsible for how those websites handle your data.
7. Sharing with others
We never sell your data and only share it when this is necessary for the purpose for which you provided it, as described above, or when the law requires us to. We do not make decisions about you that are fully automated, and we do not create profiles.
8. Security
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. Our website is only available over an encrypted connection (https), only authorised people have access to the server and the mailbox, and sensitive settings are stored encrypted.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or to have it deleted. You can also object to the processing, have the processing restricted and request your data in a common format. To do so, send a message through the contact form with "Privacy request" as the topic. We will respond within one month. To make sure nobody else requests your data, we may ask you to confirm that the request comes from you.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, please let us know first, so that we can find a solution together. You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
10. Changes
We update this privacy statement when our website or the law changes. At the top you can see when the statement was last updated. If there is any difference between this English version and the Dutch version, the Dutch version prevails.
